DHHS Secretary Rick Brajer spoke last week at the Governor’s Mansion at the signing by Gov. Pat McCrory of North Carolina’s Medicaid Reform bill. Brajer offered thanks to North Carolina’s legislative leaders – President Pro Tem Phil Berger, Speaker Tim Moore, Sen. Ralph Hise and Rep. Donny Lambeth. He also thanked all members of the General Assembly who worked on the issue with McCrory’s administration for the last three years. He thanked current and former DHHS staff for tireless efforts directed toward reform; and he thanked the provider and health care community for their partnership and wise counsel.
