The Tom Vitaglione Child Health Advocacy Award for 2013 is given to Elizabeth Hudgins, MPP, executive director, N.C. Child Fatality Task Force. Hudgins is an employee of the Division of Public Health.

The Executive Committee of the N.C. Pediatric Society recently announced its recognition awards for advocacy, research, teaching and outstanding service to children & youth.

The honor is given to an individual who works for children, youth and families every day.
