LeadershipDHHS IX gets under way

Tuesday, Sept. 24, was the start of the ninth class of LeadershipDHHS, a series of sessions for 25 identified potential future leaders. Over the next nine months the group will meet for eight sessions. Members will discuss challenges and opportunities faced by the department. They will read about and discuss definitions and examples of leadership, visit the Murdoch Developmental Center in Butner, receive presentations from a variety of DHHS leaders, and complete a team project. A graduation event is planned for the spring.  To date, 184 people have graduated from LeadershipDHHS.
