The 2013 General Assembly awarded to eligible state employees a one-time five days (40 hours) of special vacation leave on July 1.  Permanent part-time employees (half-time or more) received a pro-rata amount of the 5 days (40 hours).  If the special leave is not used between July 1, 2013, and June 30, 2014, it will expire.  Use Special Leave Code 9712 to record your time in Beacon Employee Self-Service (ESS).
