DHHS kicks off its 2014 State Employees Combined Campaign on Wednesday, Sept. 17, and the stakes have been raised over past years’ campaigns. The kickoff will be from 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. at the Haywood Gym on the Dix Campus in Raleigh.
Kristy Craig, DHHS Department Executive for the 2014 Campaign, sounds excited as she prepares to roll out the Department’s ambitious campaign.
“Everyone can at least give a little, and every little bit helps,” says Craig.
To help launch the campaign several non-profits will be present in the gym where a complimentary breakfast or morning snack will be available as participants take the opportunity to learn about philanthropic opportunities available through the Campaign’s more than 1,000 charities.
DHHS will launch its own Combined Campaign website to coincide with the kickoff. The website uses bar charts to track the extent of employee participation in each division, office and facility.
