Employees at Cherry Pause to Remember 9/11

Cherry Hospital employees formed a unity circle around the flagpole Sept. 11, 2014 on the Goldsboro campus at 8:46 a.m., marking the 13th anniversary of the time that the first of the World Trade Center twin towers was struck. It was a day of remembrance as flags draped highway overpasses, were flown from ladder trucks at fire stations across North Carolina, and were lowered on flag poles in honor of those who perished in the 2001 attacks.
